Pain in the ass but very satisfying, if you are thinking of doing this yourself I would recommend it.

Anyway let me know if it meets to everyones approval!

Cheers Bunny!

You got that wheel on yet then?

Andy

No unfortunately, i have to put together my shopping list for Luke at Zed Centre so he can do me a nice deal and the steering wheel boss is one there so i can't fit it till then.

Its sitting in my "can't fit till i get the adapter" pile in my room lol :D

very nice work love the suede effect , i would be tempted to do the instrument binacle as well in the suede ..top job fella

That is really nice. Is that Ancara or the Catskins reversed to expose swade?

i'm all for the keep a clean and simple. How long did it tack you to do? Did you replace the drivers squab or use new foam? What was the hardest part etc.

Never liked the black and gray Catskins that I've seen , but that does look real quality.

One of the nicest Z interiors I've seen I think. Looks like it came like that rather than 'it looks like a retrim'. Well done mate. Good work.

I'll second that.

Yeah I was thinking the same myself but in black suede to stop reflections in the sunshine. Not sure though may look a bit too much!

Cheers Mark,

The Door cards were done by the previous owner who, I must say did a great job. I then got a set of leather swatches from Luke and matched the one of the swatches to the alcantara and ordered the Kat Skins. I also requested that the Z logo stitching be in the same colour as the leather for 2 reasons. 1. I thought it would look "factory" and subtle (less is more) and 2. No one had done it before as far as I know and I wanted to set a trend!

They took a while to arrive from the USA as promised by Luke.

I had a spare set of seats which I paid a few quid for to use as donor seats for the rebuild. For what they cost, I would recomend this as you can use the passenger right hand bolsters to put onto the drivers side seat. It's bettter to do that than just swap them over on an existing set as you are just moving the worn one to the passenger seat. Also if anything else is worn or breaks, you always have some spares.

I used the existing sections on foam backed cover as extra padding for the backs of the seats and the seat cushions and pulled them in to give a sumptuous look.

You will need a bag of 250 cable ties. Yes that's right 250 and you will use them all!!!!!

Any other questions, just let me know!
