today me and baz helped steve strip his car. was soul destroying to do that to a zed, i nearly cried

But now i have some new toys :dance:

is a shame to see any zed go that way, what was wrong with it?

this is a car that did the RING in 9m12sec and hit over 200mph on the Zrun2006 and we are pulling it apart ... :shock:

the bonnet has gone to Vinni Boy i think, i think steve wanted about £150 for the wings. not sure about the rear, he's selling the whole hatch as one

I know what your saying, but I just want to give her a bit of a lift, I am perfectly happy with everything else about the car,but trying to do something a bit different.

Only thing with the viper wings...I kinda like them...when they aren't on the car. They just don't match up with the car. You have nice smooth quarters and doors, then these huge cutouts on the wings. You loose the neatness IMHO.

ok, I am now converted, but I will fit a new rear spoiler, nothing over the top. I will keep the existing one and smooth the new one into this. Thanks for your comments.

I rather like the WingsWest one. If you look on DTA,s site in Holland you will see a Bayside Blue one for sale, same colour as mine, this is how I want mine to look like.

TBH, and with absolutely no disrespect to anyone who is or has to dismantle their Zed, the more broken up, the more the others will be worth! It just makes logical sense. Although it's not nice to see someone breaking one up, it does mean that other Zeds will remain on the road that bit longer.

Yeah I like that. Nice angle it sits at. That's quite a nice Z actually. Just needs that little hole+token peice of mesh smoothing in.

yes it was Mr Magics car. the shell still has alot on it if anyone waants it before it goes to the scrappy, the engine and Box are still in it and and only brakes and shocks are missing from the suspention

I have some plans for racing but not in a Zed this year....

Aston Martins first to get some serious collateral then embark back on the zeds.

The chassis i had already had some damage so was no good to build on.

 

Hope to be back in a Zed in a year or so...
