Should do. It's an idea I came up with ages ago. No one's done it yet. I was going to, but waiting until I get my interior retrimmed first before doing things like that.

 

Anyway, some of my old research, I have part numbers.

 

I have 2 part numbers. Handles are chrome (only fitted to top spec late edition models). Will go to the scrap yard sometime soon as there's a 4x4 breakers near me and get a plain plastic one to double check. It should be. It's just a hole on the end of the lever where the arm slots into.

Double check with your Nissan dealer though. The parts computer showed up the above and it doesn't look anything like the actual handle itself, so it's missleading. But those part numbers correspond to the chrome handles in the other photo of the interior,

Ok here it is...............

 

 

Cost you £6 and is always handy for any black stuff on car including, Windscreen wiper arms, window rubbers infact anything matt black, plastic, rubber or painted.

 

Don't bother with imitations, this is the only one to use, trust me I have tried them all.

Anybody tried Autoglym Bumper Care on it?

Works wonders on the outside plastic and rubber trims and takes them back to new.

It doesn't leave that horrible silicon mess that you get from Back to Black etc.

I did however not use mine or anyone else's underpants to apply it so I hope it still lasts!!!

I tried the underpants trick but my handles all went a funny brown colour!

 

Now I know why. :x:

Perhaps a diet change could ahve some colour effect!!!!
