Ohhhh i thought you where talking about the Blitz boost controller

Well that looks pretty good, and pretty cheap, need to add that to my ''To Get'' list. :D

Have you used an Electronic Boost Controller??

nope... maybe one day!

if i even know what its for! lol

LoL ! They divert pressure away from the turbo actuator to achieve higher boost + allow you to change the boost pressure from inside the car. I just dont know what one i should go with. The S handles up to 1.3 bar and the R handles 2.5 bar.

I've got an Apexi turbo timer that I'll sell if you are interested? its the really small one about the size of a fag lighter, bast one IMO as it stops your dash looking like a christmas tree with loads of stuff on it. I think I've still go the zed adapter for it as well.

I've got a Greddy Profec B spec-II. Works perfectly and doesn't look too bad and is small. In fact I've seen it fitted in the apperature where the clock is. I'm just curoius. Why do you want a turbo timer? I've never used one. I just drive off boost for the last couple of miles of any journey.

I've just read it helps protect your turbos, and im quite ''heavy footed.''

Do most people use turbo timers or is there really no need for them? Im not the kind who can stick to driving off boost for a few miles :)

The 200SX that i had, had a clifford timer, but it was annoying not being able to auto-calculate.

the GREDDY ProfecB and Turbo Timer works pretty good ..
This is the set up I use and I'm very happy with both. I have the Profec B II where the clock used to be and the turbo timer above in the CD tray.

I`ve been thinking about getting one as well, is there much involved with fitting it in there? brackets and the like

Brackets!? no no dear boy just double sided tape ;)

IMO Turbo timers are handy to have, but if you value your car and your turbos, your better off driving without boost kicking in for the last couple of miles of a journey and warming the car down, even with a timer fitted!.......Doing this you have air passing over the oil coolers and radiator helping to cool them gradually with the car running. With a turbo timer, the car is just circulating coolant and it's dissapating knowwhere without air passing over the cooler radiator fins! So even with one, like Ivan i'd 'warm down' before switching off...Exactly like warming down a racehorse! Gentle trot down to a walk after a good run!

What he said! Any longer than 30secs at standstill is counter-productive.

Oh, and Greddy Profec B Spec 2 or the Profec E (if you're flash).
