I reckon it's just software that you can write your fuel/ignition maps with.

I can email it to you if you like.

Looks damned comlicated. You then need a chip burner and the knowledge to do the map.

I have access to a chip burner but I would be very interested in the s/w that allows you to look at the maps. Is this a similar utility to the one sold by Racelogic ?

Brilliant - downloaded, tested, working but not fully understood. However, I can compare the difference between UK and Jap chips, although I don't know exactly what I'm looking at yet !

What Race Logic sells is an Emulator, which connects to the ECU EEPROM socket, and then allows the ECU to still read the maps whilst you make real time changes. Its more than just software.

An Emulator can be bought from most electronic outlets like CPC. Then you would need the software to run on the laptop.

Once you have finished making changes you would need an EEPROM programmer which connects to the laptop to burn the complete maps onto.

The software is not much use without this hardware.

Andy but have been doing some back to back testing with some chips and tried a Superchip one and had some interesting results, will mail you with more in depth details.

Hmmm,

So what is the comparison map on that second pic. Looks like it is offset or extended ????

Edited - arse, just the message properly ...

Very interesting stuff! Wouldn't mind having ago at this myself. I'm sure my brother has an EPROM programmer. I used to burn my own EPROM's for micro based systems years ago.

Just downloaded all the S/W!
