whats the problem? its a fixed diameter orifice that you can buy off the shelf and in different sizes. plus they fit nicely in the tube.

i use a washing up scrubber to clean my wheels. maybe i should buy a propper 'alloy brush' because i have wheels and not plates?

Yes....if you want to maintain the condition of the wheels, you're better off buying a horsehair brush that won't scratch the surfaces like the nylon bristles of a kitchen scrubber. ;)

lol, i can't be arsed cleaning my alloys so i just dumped mr muscle oven cleaner on to get off the brake dust crap as i know i'll have me wheels soon.

After 4/5 applications it's eaten through the brake dust and laquer and paint

Needless to say when i get the new wheels i'll be stripping the old ones down and give them a respray before i sell them on.

Christ!!!! You shouldn't be in posession with actions like that! ;) Mr.Muscle is ok on say, a set of rims from an Astra, but the stuff's corrosive. It'll eat through the polish and damage to clear coat if you're not careful. I've used the stuff on cheap wheels, but you need good products if you want to keep a nice new look to the wheels.

I don't really care with the stock rims as i was going to strip and restore them anyway when the new wheels go on :D

I used to spend ages using wonderwheels etc on them with a toothbrush :D

Hey I get my son to clean mine. He don't do a very good job sometimes but you get what you pay for.

Just seemed a bit of a strange thing to use on a car but at least I have learnt something today.

Just showing my ignorance. Got to get down to the Jade Goodie level some how.

Thats why I have to pay a mechanic.
