So what kind of person drives a 300zx?

i'm afraid to say,

 

around 40% are people who havent grown up but are too old for saxo's,hence the veilside poo :x:

 

around 50% are middle aged fat balding men who cant afford a ferrari so buy a zed instead for their mid lifs crisis

 

the other 10% are people who see it as either a good performance car or see it as a great looking car.

 

all in my opinion of course :)

basically someone who doesnt follow the crowd...you can drive the length of this country and not see another zed....but take a trip to tesco and see 10 scoobies / evo's / mitzis / skylines

seriously i bought 1 because i love the look of the car, then go and change the look by putting a bigger rear spoiler on it lol the:xxx:i am

Northern hard cases who run a gym / work as a doorman

IT sorts

 

Also Asian folk seem pretty impressed by the 300 (not being racist here - I'm not saying that's a good or bad thing! Just something I've noticed)

Personally, for me, when I was 18 I had a 100nx, then when I was 20 I had a 200sx then when I was 22 I got the 300zx! It was the next logical progression!

 

Not that I beleive in incest, but you do have to keep it in the family!

well said that man, travel from Portsmouth to Teeside on a regular basis and rarely see another zed, same when I travel up to Norfolk or down to Plymouth.......mind you, it's normally raining and I've noticed most other zedders don't like getting their cars wet :tongue: !!!

What did you think of the nx? I love the fact they have targas.

thats a point the s13 never had targas did they? i wonder why? i've never seen one so presume they never made any

yeah the 100 was a nice little car! it wasnt a hard choice, I know its not the most manly car out there but it was miles better than the other choices, eg tigra's, puma's ect. And yeah it had targa's! and on the jap import I managed to get hold of it was a digital dash which was cool. It did handle very well and was very different from everything else in the same catagory.

 

And no the 200's never had Targa's unfortunately, but the 200sx S15 did come in a very tasty convertible!

I would say it was people with common sense - what else can you buy for less than 5k that

- does 160mph+

- looks great

- is loaded with toys

- has a targa roof

- and can be found with less that 50k on the clock - barely run in.

 

Feckin' bargain - everyone should have one.

iv noticed that too.i brought my 300 of a pakistani and the 1 i saw before that was owned by one too!

A 300ZX is just as fast? And just as good looking, if not better. Its also half the price.

 

Admittedly the Supra was my dream car, but seeing modded 300's makes you change your mind :D

Supras are getting pretty cheap now.

 

But a nicely done 300ZX always looks classier than a Supra.

Prices for Supras haven't soared. They just don't have the depreciation the Z has. The MK4 Supra is newer and remains similarly priced to the Skyline R33.
