Hi Vijay,

When your down to collect your Z you can check out my short throw shifter.

I have the Stillen one which shortens the throw from 5" to 3". It is generaly quite notchy requiring quite a forceful selection of each gear but doesn't take too long to get used to.

It gives a very solid feel to the whole car

but a quick gear change fom 3rd to 4th can beat the synchronised gears.

BTW - The wife hates it and can't be bothered driving the car anymore :-)

i am keen on it but would you recomend it, i mean does it change the feel of the car much

another question how many guys have them

Ive got one that i will be fitting in the next few days.I will let you know what its like.

Paul

The short throw shifter changes the complete shift characteristics of the Z.

It it was my choice then I wouldn't want it for everyday driving but I like it on the occasion.

Some like it and some don't but you need to try it before you buy it :-)
