Tein flex are the ones to go for i have them on my swb slicktop beware they are still hard on the softest setting. Also the are EDFC compatable. If you still want to keep a good ride go for a set of lowered springs only.

Hi Darrell,

I have Eibachs on mine which are a fantastic ride with new standard dampers.

It's a perfect street ride but not an out and out track day ride.

Ride hight is .8 inch drop but the rear still sits way too high.

Yesterday I decide to buy a set of spring clamps from Halfords and have clamped one of the coils down completely on both of the back springs. This is an experiment and after 30 miles it seems surprisingly good.

As for the looks FANTASTIC!! SWB's do look the bees knees when the back end comes down!

If you want, I can do some pictures later and post them up. Let me know.

Here is how it looked yesterday!

Andy,

How long have you had the springs fitted? Are your tyres wearing equally? Or have you had to reset the camber back to factory specs?

Are the Eibachs a stiffer spring than stock?

Many thanks,

Rob.

2 MONTH BUT NOT MANY MILES.

TYRES - DONT EXPECT MIRACLES ON A 300ZX!

I HAVE ADJUSTABLE REAR TOP ARMS AND A SMITHY SPACER KIT ON THE FRONT TO ADJUST CAMBER.

EIBACHS ARE SLIGHTLY STIFFER THAN NORMAL BUT THEY IMPROVE THE RIDE A LOT.

I THINK I WILL TURN MY CAPS LOCK OFF Now!

After pics!!

  • 3 weeks later...

They look pretty! Sorry mate I don't know much about the actual specs you need.

Free bump...

I have some Tein shocks and springs they are not adjustable but give a wicked drop check out my ride section. The fronts are used but pretty much as new but the rears need a refurbishment, they still work fine but the rear passenger side has a slight knock over really harsh bump. I am looking for £250 and i am based in london.

Thanks
