ourlass has decided she needs a new fire and fire place, course it has to be the most expensive in the shop (nearly £1800), i will never get my fookin zed finished off

 

nowtwrong with the old one realy, i told her i would fill the holes in the mantle piece, and the carbon monoxide form the knackered fire wil only kill you if you breath it all in

same here tho mate. my garage roof has just gone fooked so it needs replacing. especially as the Z is in there!!!!

just stick some logs in the middle of the lounge floor..... burn it and there u have a fire place.... nice and warm and very cheap

Thats all Ive got, 20 pounds worth of logs from the garden centre in the old fireplace, everyone thinks it looks great. Ok, it doesnt warm the house but it was cheap.

pmsl, i wish but she pays the mortgage so its the least i can do lol

Just fix the old one, mine tried it on this year but ours was just full of dust. I just pulled it apart and cleaned all the gauzes etc. Flame nice and blue again now, bird happy (for a time. :D )

back boiler is playing up and they are now illegal to replace so ive got to fit my combi (or finish fitting) so the fire has to come out anyway, just wish it could have been a cheaper fire and fire place she wanted lol

iff its flat (felt and bitumen) thats my game for the last 28 years,but ime not back from the usa till the 20th jan but iff you can hold out pete ile give you a good deal on renewal :)
