WTF's up with the PayPal subscription service??? It keeps coming up with 'Your session has timed out' every time I try to re-subscribe. It's also NOT on a 'https://' web site, so WTF's going on there?

It is once you click the Log In button.

It is once you click the Log In button.

Oh no it wasn't!!!!! I did log in, and got to the PAY button, then it came up with the 'Your session has timed out' message, so I was already in the system! and it still was only 'http://'

Odd.

I tried to log in to mine and it was ok.

It started on the "http://www.paypal.co.uk/uk" page, then when I clicked on the Log In button it went to "https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_login-run" page with my email filled in for me.

All normal.

Sorry, I'm not explaining myself fully. I'm trying to re-subscribe through this site!! And not directly with PayPal, which does work fine for my account. It's just using the 300zx.co.uk direct link that's not working properly!

Well I've just tried again (twice) and it did exactly the same both times as it did earlier! So sod-it! I have three days left of my subscription, then fook it, if it don't work then it'll be bye-bye from me because I really can't be arsed anymore here!

Thanks zed300x for your help, at least someone answered me

Glad it wasn't an emergency

Re-subscription money now sent directly from my PayPal account (anubis4120 @ msn.com) instead as the automated forum system doesn't bloody work.

Yes, I've had the same problem.

It all looks fine until you click on pay. Then the message:

Your session has timed out, please log in again

So it's OK to send the subscription (my first) to anubis4120 @ msn.com?

Please confirm, thanks!

No anubis4120 @ msn.com is Daves email addy, notsurewhattheclubs paypal addy is, but i'm sure it's in the subscription part of the site.

I noticed this problem early last week, so I've no idea, and nobody in the know has answered this post, so probably wont know

Anyway, you cant get rid of me that easily ;)

Nobody answered because I've been on holiday !

Over the past few years several people have complained about the same time out problem but no one has come up with an explanation. In that time we have had many hundreds of payments that do work, so I still believe it's something specific to a client config.

I'll be catching up with the manual payments this evening (hopefully).

No problem. I don't advertise to the world in general when I'll be away from home.

hey andy, i have been having problems using the paypal subscription service too, however i paid directly from my paypal account lastnight. hope to hear from you soon bud.
