rite so how much is that in euro's. got a feeling it gonna be too much but i want it. with the back lights changed the nos stickers taken off interior retrim that car would look lovely

With black wheels, black nose cone and with the vinyl removed it wouldn't be a bad car although the interior would have to go straight in the bin, yuk choc chip mint leather :hurl:

The car could be nice. The colour/graphics and those rear lights ruin it. It has some nice stuff on it.

About 1900 euros + the cost of the parts to repair it

might be worth a look but a long way to look at a pile of rubbish if its been done badly.

If you ask nicely, someone from here might go look at it for you if they are close to it

yeah dont think i could afford the costs at the moment. im busy trying to string together some money for something small for when i turn 17 as a first car. looking at either a golf or a bora but could deal with nearly anythin at the moment

That is the one on the Zed centre site, just he's changed the wheels, dont know why IMO the old ones looked better. and get rid of the resr lightcovrs, and the graphix that are only on one side of the car???? lol of and change the green leather to black and i'd think it'd look ok

yep darkside my point exactly. at the end of the day it is still a beautiful car cause its a zed so why down it jus cause it has few probs!!

I quite like the colour with the black, the bodykit is nice. As you say the lights are fugly and the interior. I would buy it to finish off properly but i think my parents may kill me lol

the one you mention is the same car sold on ebay 12 months ago with a gearbox problem, I only know as i was bidding on it.

so it had a gearbox prob 12 months ago and now has head gasket prob....that sounds like a v ery sick car!!! suppose though you hear worse stories of them on here!!

It may have a few probs but you could spend some time sorting it out.

Manwell conversion and flowed heads etc, uprated clutch.

As long as the paint and bodykit are done well, would be a very nice car when done

I think realistically you'd end up spending 1300 quid (1900E) on having a new engine and gearbox fitted but if you think about it, the bodykit and spraying on a good stock zed would cost you in excess of 3000/4000 quid (4500/6000E) just to get it to the same state.

If you were planning on keeping it a long time and invest some good money in it it'd be worth having

I think a heavily modified 300ZX is not an ideal first car for a 17 year old in Ireland where insurance and tax are punitively expensive IIRC!

Metro for you I think. :D

I was thinking the same here, my lady friend in ireland said it cost her 3000 quid a year to insure a laguna 2.0 16v

well even when the right time comes and the money is there im gonna have to buy in england as the zeds over here go for stupid money!! saw a stock 96 for sale for €16795 which yes the car to us would be worth it but realistically its not. just want pointer for when i buy for hagling. whats more wanted manual or auto and uk or jap and 2seater or 2+2???????

Thats what i mean, the expensive bits have been done, as long as they are done well

Na's arnt do expensive to fix as you have no turbos to worry about.

As long as the body kit isnt a diy job then its worth the money, you might be able to knock him down quite a bit if it doesnt sell on ebay.
