Ferrari's, which employs about 600 people, has gone into administration on the BBC site.

"lower sales and higher costs" had led to the decision.

A statement read: "The companies' sales are, in common with others in our industry, down on the previous year, which itself was down on 2004/2005.

well It's kinda funny but I can't laugh at people losing jobs

i agree, laugh at the twist but thats it. especially at this time of year.

Funny though as I bought something from gregs the other day (huge queue) and later walked past a local bakers which was empty and I actually felt really guilty.

Just not enough dough in that company.

I'm a wholemeal bread fiend! The amount of people who work in bakeries and don't know what WHOLEMEAL (not granary, not white with seeds, etc) is does my nut in....

Oh God it's in Hirwaun. That place is a dump. Grey and lifeless, it used to be a thriving mining town, but since the closure of almost all the South Wales colieries, it became somewhat of a ghost of its former self....although it wasn't a nice place before that. Small town dominated by its horrid tower blocks. In a town with only a few thousand people, it makes for a dreary location. They've been pulled down now iirc. Think there used to be an ironworks there too at some point. Miserable place, you come to the edge of the Beatufuil Brecon beacons and you're faced with Hirwaun.
