And of course, I had the ubiquitous Iron Maiden T-Shirt. Growing up in the 80's this was verging on regulation attire for teenage rockers, none of this "It" girl and "It" boy wearing them as a post-modern, ironic statement that we have today. Strangely I don't remember buying it...it just appeared one day looking worn. I blame a UK wide conspiracy with government agents secreting them into every kids wardrobe. Possibly.

Funny that. I did the opposite and bought lots of Velvet Underground stuff. I`m just holding out for a promo copy of their first album,(Torso copy, mono recording, with intact sticker). Might need to take out a second mortgage though. I have everything else on promo. Even the third album.

Maiden played Newcastle tonight, never went but have seen them twice before, just after no prayer for the dying album supported by Anthrax and fear of the dark album supported by the Almighty

My favourite was 22 Acacia ave............for 15 quid she will teach you more than you will know.Brilliant,still got all the old albums. :) :cool:
