after a few false starts on ebay, as they keep removing them

when it gets to last few hours, went and picked one up locally

not cheap but thats my lads main prezzie sorted

few interesting things, it's usa but all of them are multi game region

so will play ntsc and jap' games and will also play the uk ones when released

about time they went across the board

(wont play original pal films) it does play copies and also plays dual layer copies, as for the game play, lol dont ask me i don't play games

came with resistence fall of man and genji , so if anyone know anywhere in the uk who sells games? would prefer games only out for this as he has a 360, so pointless doubling up

not really sure what the real hd picture is like, as i quickly tried it (before he came home) using the supplied lead and couldnt be arsed unplugging the sky hd, as the ps3 doesn't come with a hdmi lead

nice looking piece of machinery, and as i said impressed with the multi region :)

Didn't realise these were already out in the States! (Luddite that I am). REALLY looking forward to getting this (well, I won't be getting it per se, the little lady has already insisted she's buying it for me! Well, it would be rude not to let her...:D :D)

if you get chance you can buy any of them m8

ie ntsc, hong kong, or japan

yep 3 different lol, ntsc and japan are 110, so will need a convertor (dirt cheap) and the hong kong one is plug straight in,

ALL models/countries will play all games from anywhere in the world :)

Have they given a definate UK release date then? Just wondering about the warranty situation in case it decides to throw a hissy fit and go bang!

March m8, yep not a lot you can do if it goes tits up, pays your money and takes your chance, but id say less risk than driving a Z :p

Meh. Well, I've waited it out this long, I can wait it out for another 3 months. Just. :wack:  ;)

you wanna adopt me :D I now hate my dad, lol

Got to import games from the states I'm afraid, a game to get is motorcross, don't know when the US version is out though, a jap version is out but with no online play. Its been delayed in the the US launch line up as they are making it online play for the Yank release.

Iv got a mate who works in central london (tottenham court road) whos selling PS3 and theyre alot cheaper than what theyre going for an Flea bay

If anyone wants one then let me know and ill point you in the right direction.....iv already had two people purchase from his shop

Fas

out of interest why do ebay keep removing them, how can it be against the rules to sell them?

Probably because they dont in fact have them, so thats against the rules.
