DO NOT MIX!!!!

Please please please be extra carefull out there folks. If its not icey then the wet salt is almost as bad with the wide tyres we have on these cars. I don't want to see any more 'I crashed my Z' posts on here sorry! Sorry to the guys who've already suffered losses but I'm worried its only a matter of time before we lose another member rather than just another Z.... Fat, wide, low profile tyres are not suitable for the road conditions we have at the moment!!!

Cheers,

Andy

Please, please forgive me. It's not a name I come across very often you old misery. Oh and guess what I just happened to forget to take my Thesaurus of names and their origins out with me today. I know that was remiss of me MR Scrouge, but perhaps spelling your name like a disease was more whishful thinking, because your uncharitable demeanour with regaurd to Christmas is as sour as the taste of Beubonic Plage.

Merry Christmas and may your balls go square and fester at the corners.

Yeah no joke, first thing I did is check to see if the TC box is still there!

I've tried everything to get it working and the power light is on but it just doesn't function.

I wonder if i've got someone elses unit...

Have you changed the diff at all? because the cable from the diff sensor to the ASB sensor might be damaged. So you'd have no ABS as well.

Its unlikely that if the unit is there that its not yours as generaly my experience was that bits remove at GPS were never replaced, What ever the intentions where.

You mean dictionary? I checked for 'scrouge' and nothing could be found. ;)

Hmmm that's interesting.

I haven't changed the diff but you know what that place was like...

I've checked all the wiring to the TC box and my ABS still seems to work, at least I've felt it do it's thing a couple of times since GPS.

Maybe if the rear sensors are off the front ABS would work but the lack of rear sensors would stop the TC working as they're the driven wheels?

The only wiring I haven't checked is where the TC joins into the ABS controller in the side of the rear seats but I can't imagine why that would have been disturbed...

Have you plugged in the diagnostic connector and checked the RLTC is picking up the wheel speeds chris?

:headvswal That because i spelt it wrong.

Here take this shovel off me or I'll never climb out of here.

I am dyslexic and genuinely check suff time and time over and still can't see what wrong. I have a program on word that has learnt my dyslexia and auto corrects.

I've got one of those super hi tech laptops without a serial port so no :( Wish I'd kept my old one for this.

Will have to get a USB to serial adapter they're only a few quid.

I bought the Racelogic Digital Adjuster while the car was at GPS and when I fitted it it doesn't function correctly and that uses the diagnostic port.

So I'm assuming the box has gone faulty or the sensors have all stopped working :(

It switches the TC on/off light correctly and if I unplug the TC box the car won't run as it controls the injectors so it must be partially working.

Doesn't really matter now as the car is off the road for a while now until I can afford to run it.

if the traction control was wired up with the plug connectors that come with the kit you could unplug it and have your car back to standard andsend ecu of for testing

anyway theres nowt wrong with barnsley slang>>>>>>

Yeah I can unplug it but it's way out of warranty so I'll have to pay for it testing and can't afford to have it repaired/replaced right now so living with it.

I worked in Barnsley for 2 years so I'm used to the unusual way of speaking

I was Mark's translator in Germany ;)

Chris I take exeption to that, because having spent time with and around you I'm sure the action "To Work" and Chris C are a contraditions of terms.

Hi Stuart - As you are not a subscribed member I have not been able to pm you to ask if you would please send me the £41 balance on the indiglo dials. Please also send me your name and address so the dials can be sent to you.

Please understand that you are preventing ALL the members of the group-buy from receiving their dials as MyGarage has to receive full payment for all of the dials before they will send any of them out.

SO PLEASE SEND THE £41 WITH YOUR NAME & ADDRESS VERY URGENTLY.

Cheers - Dave
