i know of the die hard fans of you get what you pay for ect and in an ideal world i would love to pay £150 a corner for tyres but its just not gonna happen soooo these have had some great reviews and the quality of products nowadays are very good. also they must have had many tests and quality controls to pass eu regs ect

please could you give me your opinion on these tyres.

F1's all the way, i pay about £90 a corner on stock rims.

They dont last that long but they grip well in all weathers.

question... why do you call them corners when they are round!?!?!

never mind, kumhos have no grip and wear like fook! buy cheep buy twice

i must admit i purchased a set of kumhos in 215/40/17's for my old car and they lasted really well . also falken fk451's were very good. this is why i think i will buy a pair of these linglongs to trial and give some feedback to the club.

f1's are amazing tyres but too pricy for this side of xmas. i need these tyres to last 2 months btw!

right heres my twopenneth

I bought nankang ns2's and thought they were ok

tried avon zz3 they were ok but i didnt think they were worth the extra over the nankangs

goodyear f1 were another story though , worth the outlay and sticky as

hi i would goodyear f1s all the way i get mine for £90 a corner thats 17s 255 35, 235 40

the brand worries me

shandong linglong love you long time sucky $5

just as bad as tingtong from tooting :wack:

Gaz, your only looking at around £60-70 a corner for a decent set of tyres such as the Falken 452's in yoru stock 16" sizes...and about £20 more per corner for 18"

Will agree with dave on this, I had F1 all round then due to them

wearing too quick I tryed falken 452s,WOW exelent tyre for both

wear and grip, wont change now!

Allan

I've got the Falken 451's on mine and the tread pattern looks lurrrvly! Similiar to the Toyo's and Goodyear F1's.

Don't like the look of the 452's but I'm sure they're as good if not better.

HAve to agree on the Goodyears

Avons are shite and I would not buy them EVER.

I currently have Dunlop SP Sport 9000 on both my ZX and SLK. ON the ZX they are absolutely fine. Not quite as good as the Goodyears but they have lasted longer than 5 minutes so far, so all in all I'm pretty impressed/happy with them.

The SLK doesn't seem quite so grippy though but I put that down to the car. The ZX is leagues ahead as a fast driver's car

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

hi mate worked in tyres for 8 years, don't buy the cheap un's there normaly cr*p hard as fook with no grip especialy in the wet, try this site khumo's less than £60. http://www.blackcircles.com hope this helps m8
got khumos all round on mine,255/35/18 on the rear and 235/35/18 on the front, nice tires and got a good deal at my local garage, had them on the zed for over 2yrs now and still got fook loads of tread left :) ,hope this all helps bud

:smash: :smash:

the corner refers to the corner of the car, not the tyre/wheel

let me know how the falkens turn out bud as i am always on the look out for a bargain

i've had the falkens before on my old car and i cannot fault them. at £63 each delivered i shouldn't complain about the price either lol.

would be interesting to see how they are on the z.

UM get good insurance lol. seriously tho they are a rated tyre but you sort of get what you pay for. i have been running fk451's now for a while and to say im impressed is an understatement

just had the front uns fitted today!! guess i should have read this post before buying!

seriously tho, im planning on hitting 120-140 in germany, doubt ill go over that and im KaKKing it now,............should i be? ill only do it dry, straight and on good roads, advice appreciated.

I have just bought a set of 19" Falkens form Tyretraders.com, they were cheaper than anyone, inc Falkendirect, Mytyres etc.

What ever you buy have a look there, they only charge £9.00 for delivery, how ever many tyres you buy. Good delivery time too.

im sorry, that is rubbish - and i can vouch for that 1st hand.

I can guarantee the kumho has just as much grip and durability than a dunlop F1 - very impressed by them and would buy them again

before you pick up on it, ive done a classic typo...

I have tried:

- Goodyear Eagle F1

- Dunlop Sports (9000)

- Kumhos ECSTA Sports

The kumho gets my vote
