Iraq to get the Goodbye Effect

 

Lets hope the US doesn't pull out of Iraq until

we can see their great new weapon, the ADS,

utilised. The ADS is a non-lethal crowd control

weapon that beams microwaves at people, making

them feel like their face is melting and

provoking "highly motivated escape behaviour".

Security experts have called it the

"Goodbye effect".

 

The ADS has been tested in secret for 10 years,

costing $40m. In human tests most subjects

reach their pain threshold in three seconds -

no-one has passed five seconds. The military

claims its effects don't last long but this has

yet to be checked independently.

 

What a great idea. Surely beams of searing pain

from armoured Hummers liberating the streets

of Baghdad can only help Western-Iraqi relations?

sounds good and has been talked about in the past, but is it like many other so called US wepons systems. Just hunkum bunkum. Remember Star wars and even early tests with Patriote etc.

 

Fact its not been used already suggests its not what they say, because the situation over there is dyer and the White House is desperate to win the peace so they can justify not just the war, but why so many US troops have had to die. Remember the US people seem to have a short attention span.

sad thing is it is more likely to be used on normal working men who dare to protest about pay and conditions or people in high spirits after a football match or out on the drink.

I said it when they were talking about going in there it was the wrong move and I was ridiculed by all the people I said it to.

 

Ok so Sadam is a genicidal dictator but to overthrow him has caused far more trouble than if we had made peace with him. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
