As cars in the air, I wobbled th rear wheels side to side.

They rock and can see movement which I guess is on the ball joints. I assume there should be zero movement?

If I need new bits, I may just put the brace on and get rid of it.

Oops, wrong forum :wack:

Even if you put a brace on you will still need new ball joints. :smash:

Oh well, might as well just do the joints then if that the prob....

If you get someone to rock the wheel while your underneath you should be able to see where the movement is. mine was in the hicas unit itself so i just got rid.

I have the same problem.

I believe it is the ball joints although now I'm worried it could be the HICAS unit!

Yea, just like my old one did too.

Thought it would be something there, but never done anything about it!!!

It will be the Hicas arms - Nissan only parts (2 needed) but not expensive - About £50 per arm I think.

i bought a second hand hicas rack complete, that sorted it out, make sure the replacement rack is a good one though!! easy job to do as well!!
