At the back of my aircon switch pod are two block connectors, now there is only one place to fit a connector.

Have I got the wrong switch fitted or is the second smaller grey block redundent.

I only ask because my blowers only blow through the centre vents and not on my feet or window screen.

Cheers, Scrawni.

Not sure bud, I've just had a look for my spare one, but can't find it.... So, I beleive that it only has the one on the Air-Con pod.

Are you sure it's not the Hazard switch connector?

Might be a good idea to take a photo.

Dave

Also, take a look at the automatic climate control diagnostics - http://www.ttzd.com/tech/autocctech.html

Steve :)

*EDIT* Sorry, that link is for Series 2 systems. Series 1 is similar IIRC. Will see if I can find the link...

Or even take a look at the on-line service manual >> Auto Air-Con Trouble Diagnostic Pages

That should help you out.

AFAIK the system components are all the same from series 1 to 2, but it just has a different control pod and control amp module (so you can change from series 1 to 2 without any wiring changes)

If it turns out to be either you pod or amp module I have a spare of both, just give me a shout.

This all looks a bit too testicle to me, what ever happened to slides for the vents, I'll have a play and see if I can find anything out.

Cheers.
