It's taken from a National Geographic program called Fight Science. There's a torrent of it somewhere.

I'm currently recovering from a broken knuckle I got punching a stack of unexpectedly tough roof tiles in a karate class last month. :slap:

So I think it's fair to say that I can't do that, even if I wanted to! ;)

you need to start with cream crackers and work your way up.

Duffer once broke 3 fingers on a particulally nasty cream cracker but it had gone quite stale...

I've broken roof tiles before, but these were a different type and were a lot tougher to break.

I watched that a few weeks ago. The guys breaking the ice blocks and bricks in the first minute are brothers, wouldnt want to mess with them!!

I'd be more impressed if they wrestled with an alligator! In fact I'd be more impressed if they broke just three or four slabs without the spacers in between. You can tell he's been smacking his head against bricks just by looking in his eyes, too much brain trauma going on there. Not clever, and doesn't make them good fighters either.

Makes them bloody strong tho and I wouldn't want to be hit by one of them either lol

Not strong, just able to strike with a huge amount of force. As they say if you're strong it doesn't matter it's the fact they carry ot through all the way otherwise the force would bounce sends the force straight back

I can punch through a 2" solid wood door... and put my foot through one too lol (amazing how pissy i get when i lock myself out) have done this several times now.. oh and car windows..lol

mind you i have been training of one kind or another for the last 20 years so i guess that helps..

pretty awesome vid but i would have a go if it was just me and them, they not very fast just hit with tremendous impact..

quite impressive tho, normally breaking things in karate gear is a bit gay but this well the results speak for themselves..

No denying it looks impressive and they are tough blokes.........

However, the physics they quoted is a complete load of *****x. Long slabs with spacers are surprisingly easy to break - try it for yourself: get 3 housebricks and rest one on the other two, right at the ends. Stamp on it lightly and the middle brick breaks. That "scientist" must have been an actor or paid off.
