Where's best on price?

Heard about Mickledever (or however you spell it?!) Anyone got a phone number?

Need some cheap 18's as i'm going for 285's on the rear.

Got quoted £440 EACH for Bridgestone S02's! I did laugh at the guy.

Anyone used Dunlop Sport 9000's? They look nice and have an anti-curb rim at a very good price. They have a similar tread to Goodyear Eagle F1's (too dear I think)

Macca mentioned the BF Goodrich thingies but they don't do a 285. Sob! www.tyres-sold-online.co.uk seem cheap. Anyone used em?

And a pair of 235/40/18 or 245/40/18

Best quote i've had so far on 285's is Fulda Extremos @ £172.61 each or Dunlop Sport 9000's @ £194.95

I've used Tyressoldonline. The service was excellent.

Just remember to add the cost of fitting and balancing to the total cost.

In the end I called Micheldever who were a lot cheaper anyway. www.micheldever.co.uk

Got a set of Fulda Extremos

285/35/18 @ £143.00 each inc VAT

235/40/18 @ £116.00

I think Bridgestone S02's in 285/35/18 were £219.00 and 235/40/18 were £164.00

Marshalls were on my car when I bought it and they were dreadful. No grip in the wet, poor grip in the dry, wore quickly and stability was terrible. Not recommended !

Ditto, the back end was all over the place in the wet with Marshalls, although in their defence they seemed better across muddy fields than my S03s.

Their best feature was that they wore quickly so I could replace them with something better

Trouble with Marshalls is that you're far more likley to find yourself in a muddy field in order to test their 'off road' characteristics ! wink.gif

Yeah, they were great for making passengers nearly crap themselves though (glad I've got leather seats). After a few months I learnt to look as if I wasn't just as scared and meant to do it

he asked for cheap.... just helping him out,

one thing i have noticed tho is unless u pay for the best ive found they are all about the same dont no wat u guys think

Tanvic tyre centre near me wanted £230 each to replace the 265/35/18 pirelli p-zero's i had on the back. They managed to get me the same size falkens for £288 a pair!!!!

The falkens are much better and more grippy, plus the pirellis only lasted me 2 months!!!
