well mine is going to be a paultry 63k mortgage but i am buying totally alone on my crappy wages along with all the other debts i owe out should leave me with £150 A month for pleasure food and petrol, GREAT!!

i'm in a company with 3 others where we have a £17 million mortage...this will rise to a £35m in 12 months....£100m in 5 years

 

and i still sleep at night....:D

no mortgage for me thank god. i own two villas in turkey outright that will be up for sale soon, and thinking on investing that into a 4 bed home with 10 acres and big rental in canada. we will see.

dont know to feel worse that some people dont have a mortgage or feel better than some people have a bigger mortgage than me?? LOL

I'd rather not have a mortgage. Mine is £240,000, but that is on a developement which is worth double that as it stands and when completed will be worth 5 times that, but it doesn't stop me worrying.

 

The next one though i won't need borrow and then it'll realy be worth it and I can jack my work/business in.

Originally bought house for 121K took mortgage for 110K - 4 bedroom detached.

Thats now down to 90K and costs £642 per month. Blo*dy fortune!

Banged a 26x12 conservatory on the back of the house last year cost 16k

House is now worth 250k so I'm happy about that!

170k mortgage taken out in sept and property already gone up 10k !! woohoo , Prices down here are serious rip off . !

big 4 beddy house, semi detatched, front driveway, gated and massive rear gardens

conservatory and now a massive fookin deck that i put in, got it for just 62k two years ago now worth over 200k and to top it off a brand new school at the end of the road has put it up again.

 

went into estate agents asked if they had any repo's , came to see this one and had it, bought outright and spent under 15k on work that i did myself, including all the fitments etc.

 

selling in new year and buying a nice barn conversion and i may think about finally retiring and taking things easy.
