god no, probably 30 profile max on a 19", of course this is a percentage of the width so it depends on the width.

I asked this question a little while ago. Answers I got varied as always.

Front 8.5" wide wheel, 235/35..... Rear 9.5" wide wheel 265/30, seems to be the common choice.

55 profile?? LOL...you been looking at the SUV page Bird?

Mark, I'd go 285s in a 9.5" rim and 245 on a 8.5".

Hi mate,

as a rule of thumb, providing you're keeping the same tyre widths, ie 225 front and 245 rear, you go down one profile every time you go up one inch, ie from 245-50-16 to 245-45-17 to 245-40-18 etc. As Clarkey says though that'll change if you're going wider. See here for some great advice - http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html

The back will swallow huge tyres, depending on the offset, but always remember to allow a bit of play because the rear wheels do steer, unless you've disabled your hicas obviously.

on the zed with 19's you need a 30 profile on the rear and 35 on the front :)

55's?! The Range Rover Sort comes with 255/50R19 on as standard. Even the regular Range Rover and Discovery 3 come with 255/55R19 tyres.
