how good is a new nissan oil pump?

i am currently getting parts ready for my rebuild and am wondering if its worth getting a uprated oil pump.

any opinions on this?

Chris.

Stock is fine although I think toda are the ones to go for but it very very hard to get hold of one at the moment!

i'll stand corrected if anyone knows different ( which they probably will!)

for the record, there are NO uprated oil pumps available for the VG30DETT

Toga claim they have one, but several people have dismantled this socalled uprated Toga pump and all came to the conclusion there's nothing upgraded/special about it and it appeared to be a stock TT pump.

Only real upgrade is a drysump system.

thanks for the replies guys.

helpfull as always.

nissan pump will be on order soon.

Chris.

From what I've heard, the first oil pump that nissan made until 1994 is not the same as the one we can buy now.

So what I've been told on TTnet is that as long as you do replace your actual oil pump by one EOM, it will be a uprated one compared to the one we have on our car before 1994.

Hope this help
