I've got a leak at the back of the engine. Though it's from one of the top hoses. If only my hands where as small as those Japanese I would have got it sorted. Most of the hoses at the back aint too hard to do once you get the plenum off... though in my case the plenum just wont come off! :wack:

I had the same prob. One was a top hose at back of plenum. Easy to fix. Otherone was the turbo coolant pipe on passenger side.

Not sure it its poss to do in. Can be done with gearbox out, but I;ve taken the engine out to do mine as I had other things to do as well.

Its either your matrix pipes or your turbo water hoses, I have done both of mine bit of a bitch to do and you lose a bit of skin off your knuckles but it is possible you will need a ratchet with a bendy connector on it to go round the bends and pinch up the new hose clips on the tubby pipes.

I had a plemum bypass done for £300 by a well known trader on here, and was amazed that these little tubby pipes werent replaced with it.

Lesson learned, i didnt go back.

i've done this pita pipe with the engine in, i had to take off the aircon pipes though to get to it, it can be done but pacience here is a virtue, oh and plenty of plasters for your knuckles, take the battery out and have a look at the space!! the worse job is the damn 10mm bolt that holds the pipe in place, if you follow the pipe you will find the other end comes out at the top behind the manifold so i just removed that section of pipe.
