Hi Guys,

Does anyone have any experience with poly bushes ?

A couple of my bushes are on the way out and i thought about going for a complete set of poly's, does this make the ride really hard or what ??

Thanks for your help.

Hi, I did my front bush's a while ago and it made a huge difference to the steering, I'm doing all the rear ones as we speak so I can't tell you yet how it feels but it should be alot more positive.

thanks really keen to know how you get on the rear ones on my car are the ones that need doing

I would do the whole lot on the back if I were you, meaning drop the subframe and change them. Its a tough job but I have done two now and am getting good at it. There is a section in the faq section that shows you how to do it and its realy good to follow.

You can get the bush's from Z centre or I got mine from Concept Z in the states.

I did the entire car about 8,000 miles ago. It makes a masive difference to the feel and responce of the car. Then anti roll bars are the biggest and best handling upgrade of them all.

thanks for your response guys just one more question does it make the ride really harsh ?

No just removes all the sloppiness and vague ness in the steering and road feel. Lowering springs will make the ride a bit harder, but ajustable dampers on the hardest settings will make the ride harsh.

To do the whole car you will need:

Energy Suspension Master Kit.

Energy Suspension full rear arm kit.

Energy Suspension rear ARB drop link set.

Nismo front upper arm bushings, inner and outer.

and while you are at it a Nismo gearbox mount.

and why not do the OEM gearstick bushing too :)

in total that will set you back £245 or so from Smithy or elsewhere.

fitting these will make you wonder how you ever lived without them, in my opinion!

Any idea where you can get those anti roll bars from?.

You can order them direct from Whiteline also,

Just worked out the cost of front & rear anti-roll bars are approx £263 (643 aus $) delivered.

Whiteline do most suspension parts for 300ZX.
