im new to the forum (couldnt find a newbies thread) anyway hello everyone, my question is would an intake plemum off a 1990 300zx fit a 1994 300zx ? its just i was looking to buy one to polish up as my friend wants a polished one for his car and rather than the car being off the road while i polish it we could just swap them over.

im a little better at it now (i think), that was my first attempt at polishing but im learnig from my mistakes

Just finished this one today - excuse the picture quality - damn flourescent lighting...

thems better pics !!! is the parts youve polished the only parts that will be visible when fitted ? just for reference when i do mine.

Yep absolutely - can't see the point in polishing the parts you can't see... On the runners do the tops and a little bit of the sides. The side 'pods' do as much as you can get to but don't worry too much cos there's so much wiring/vac tubing in the way once installed you won't see them. Don't bother too much with the fronts of the front runners either since they are hidden by the throttle linkage ;)

nice one thanks, il use your pics as a guide as i dont actually know what runners or side pods are, il just copy yours lol.

LOL runners are the ones running inwards, side pods, well they're the ones running down the sides LOL ;)
