Dude, it's disguise cladding. Found on many test cars when manufacterers want to keep some of the identity from the prying eyes.

You can't even see much of it as 2/3s of it is covered in cladding. :confused:

 

What we can see looks quite nice, although until you see it in the flesh and uncovered I'll not give my full response. Liking the 99-spec spoiler fitted to it though! :rofl:

 

I remember seeing photos of the RX8 before it's launch, yet when you see it on the roads it looks so bland and non-descript.

Looking at the motor show photos and this one i've noticed a few details have changed:

 

* Wing mirrors are deeper

* Spoiler has changed

* Wheels have changed

* The grill has been opened up

* There are now door handles on the doors

* The bonnet vents have changed

 

BUT:

 

* The lights look similar

* The general shape and lines are identicle

* The vented front panels are still here

* The general structure of the front bumper looks the same, i hope they keep it!

* The back end looks identical shape wise

 

Can't wait to see the finished product :)

lol, check my list of differences ^^^ there's not many and it's subtle.

 

I doubt very much the front end has changed an awful lot. I'm still hoping it has the black bits under the lights on the front

they used the Z31 shell on a Z32 while they were testing it on the track so nobody could tell what it was!

im glad to see that theyve kept a bit of the R34 look in there, if you squint and look at the front and rear corners. most importantly, i wonder whats under the bonnet!! [hopefully at least one turbo!!!]
