I allways wanted one but only got to have a viva and a shuvet

Chevette HSR was a nice bit of kit! All part of the DNG. :)

I had an Opel Manta GTE if that counts :D

Superb car and did well in Rallying but not many about these days :(

Yes it does count as the MK1 Cavalier Coupe was an early version of the same car.

Love Mantas

Believe this or not, this is a MK1 Cavalier Coupe with a Mantzel Evolution kit on it.

Personally, I'm a bit of a Monza fan...

learnt in a shuv-it and had 2 mantas, 1.8 and then the GT/E lovely motors...always fancied the Monza, but never saw a decent one when I had the cash!!!

always wanted an astra mk2 16v gte with the digi dash. ended up with the cav sri mk3 saloon 8v loved it and was sooo reliable.

calibras still hold a place in my heart but are too cheap and too many twats now own them!

the Droop snoot is fantastic. i'll keep my eye on this auction.

I'm a big fan of the old vauxhalls.

i used to have a 1.3 hs replica, then i built a striped out 2.3 chevette with twin 48 delortos and a huge straight thru exhaust, then i eventually got my hands on a Genuine chevette HS, great cars

My third car was a Cavalier Mk1 coupe. A 2.0gls in sapphire blue way back when I was 18.

That was a great car in its day - plus I fitted the obligatory twin Webber carbs and custom exhause from Peter Maiden Components.

I always liked the Manta GTE, but I decided on an Astra GTE the next year instead.....(but as the car was only a few months old at the time, it wasn't a "lax power" chav car then ;) )

Richard :D

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
