Put a datascan on my car today.

Had a code 13 (last 30 starts) we cleared it and it hasnt come back yet. Will clean connecter and check that one again.

More worrying was they two O2 sensors. They just sat at 35 at 2000rpm. They didnt sway as they should have?

Will an Apexi A-SFC II affect how the O2 sensors work? There were two new ones put on on the 22/9/2004. Would they break that quickly?

Apart from that everything else was alright!

Just another thing, on the MOT the emissions were really really good. Specially for a 15year old de catted car. From my head I think it was 0.3% when the limit is 3% carbon monoxide?

i have had a look at the date reply and throughout the time you held at 2000rpm the air fuel mix was lean approx 80% of the time . this could explain the low emissions but could be a little problem.

I think that Apexi A-SFC II thing does things with that. But noone seems to know what they do? including me!

I don't know much about those either, except the SAFC fine tunes the mixture. I don't think it was running lean though? I'm sure Thor did a relatively safe map and set up of it all. It would be a good idea to get them to look at it again.

I'm not sure you'll need them but I've got two o2 sensors if you do, one looks brand new and not sure about the other. I can get Alicia to bring them down with her next time if you want.

correct me if im wrong, but doesnt the SAFC adjust the MAF reading to create a mapped fueling? The o2 sensors are seperate to this and should be replaced if faulty regardless of the presence of a SAFC?

when i had my o2 sensors checked on datascan it looked like mine were not cycling on low went to zedworld had it checked on conzult and they were ok
