i was driving to oxford this morning for an important course when my drivers rear tyre decided it had had enough @ 70mph.... milliseconds after it blew the tyre made the decision that it wanted to overtake me and carry on along the motorway... whilst watching my tyre drive itself into the laybay up ahead i was nearly crying at the sound of my nice 18" wheel grinding on the hard stuff!!!!

after f'in and blindin for a few secs i put my raincoat on and stepped out into the pissin rain to slap the space saver on... after my pit stop i continued my journey battling to keep the car in a straight line through the hardcore downfall.

i was 15mins late gettin to oxford and was covered in shite!

needless to say my alloy is a wreck... completely mashed! though i am still alive with no damage to the zed or any other vehicles :)

What a nightmare. Like you said though, at least no one was hurt.

Gutted for you mate, thank goodness you're okay could have been much worse

Shit man! That sucks, but you didn't even hurt yourself which was good. Hope you manage to get a replacement rim.

Glad you didn,t have an accident bud , a wheel and tyre is a small price to pay for what could have been far worse .

my boss has a saying and it doesnt matter how bad it sounds or how bad it is he always says "it could have been worse" sounds patronising at first but then when you think about it you realise that he is right (the fookin smug git)

glad to see you are ok though

at least ur ok....
