If the 350Z looked like that I'd have had one some time since. I've seen the models of these 350Z GT500's and thought thats proberbly what the designer desighed. Not the part nizzan hut part citren Diane thing we got on the roads.

cant realy see the car, i have some pics of it at the motorshot though.

is it just me that thinks there would be a good market for a 300zx/350Z based kit car that looked like that?

just a thought that someone else will probably make millions from. lol

5.0ltr N/A V8 Nissan mmmm i'm sure someone saide something about a 5.0ltr ZX cough cough J.D. being ready this year. :slap:

I saw that on TV the other night and was amazed it beat all those old F1 cars etc :D

Sounded awesome too!

I'd love to see what's under that plastic body, it's obviously just a kit car with hints of 350Z styling.

Good for advertising I suppose :nono:

It is the car they race in Super GT, I would think it is a proper 350z just with heavy modification.

Plastic? :smw: Try carbon......... All exterior panels are carbon, but it retains the roadcar steel bodyshell. Obviously cut to bits and lightened with a nice rollcage threw in there to increase torsional rigidity. :wack:

I'd say eliments of the steel monoc as the depth from roof to door is shorter and door glass to sill is much shorter too. I honestly don't think you could built this from a standard car.

It is absolutely gorgous though.

I know it's not plastic

I was just meaning it looks like a thin molded body strapped over a tubular chassis or something.

If it weighs 1100kg and has 500bhp I don't see how it kicked the arse of all those F1 cars up the hill?

Mark, i would say they have to keep a stock bodyshell to keep it looking 'roughly' like something you can go and buy. Similair to our own touring car series. Stock panels MUST be fitted to the BTCC cars. Apart from the wider wheelarches, the regs were relaxed in '98 i think to allow them modified versions.

But yes, one hell of a sexy car :p

LMFAO plastic fantastic :D

The weight alone says it is not a tubular or full carbon bodyshell....

As for it's speed, i guess it could be down to massively wide modern sticky tyres and proper downforce?
