aftermarket oil gauge pressure???

I've searched the forum but can't seem to find what i'm looking for. Just want to know what the reading should be in BAR when ideling, driving and so on..

    idle: 0.8 bar minimal

    3000 rpm: 3.6 bar min...around 4 bar is normal

    Okey... mine idels between 1,5 - 2 bar.

    At 3000 rpm the pressure is about 5 bar.

     

    Is this dangerous high?? running with 10-40 oil. maxed to the top on the oil pin

    you might have too much oil in? Check the dip stick. Also it will read very high at first until the oil is hot as its thicker when cold.

    One more thing... I've got a oil pressure gauge from auto gauge.. There are double set of wires for 12v, ground and illumitation. Are all wires supposed to be connected??
