I have been using Nissan L250 concentrate, green fluid, but do the different colours matter as long as they are monoethylene glycol (I think that is the right chemical). The other day someone mentioned a pink coolant! Surely the colours are just down to a dye. Any recommendations please and quantities / ratios with water.

Thanks

All the difference between the green and the red is the red was designed for jap imports and is supposed to keep the coolant temps down by an extra couple of degrees, ive used this in all my Supras, and i now use it im my 300x aswell its fantastic stuff.

Very interesting, thanks.

Interesting reading. Think my coolant might be due for changing before the summer comes round next year. Only other thing ive wondered, is if distilled water is actually worth the difference over tap water
