IMHO This might be percieved as condoning racing on public roads, and really wouldn't do the forum any favours.

Much as I like the idea, Brian, I have to agree with Tim .

 

It's a right shame but with all this "political correctness" (i.e. can't call a spade a spade any more and "no fun please, we're British") crap around I don't think it would do the forum any good at all.

 

On the other hand, we could just say 'Sod the Establishment' and go for it...

 

Btw, I was cruising along at 45 in a 50 zone when a REALLY BIG bike gradually came up behind me. I could tell he was up for it so, carefully to avoid the auto box dropping down, I jently pressed on the accelerator and let the Zed creep up to 49... Makes thrilling reading, doesn't it???

Political Correctness stuff is crap, pure and simple. Started by the Americans as every nancy over there whinging about every little thing under the sun and like the sponges that we are, the British, ever kissing up to the Americans, decided to go along with this too.

 

Hence why you can't call Big Ears from Noddy that anymore, there are no "golliwogs" on Robertson's Jam, just Gollys, Snow White and the 7 Dwarves was talked about being changed to Snow White and the 7 Persons of Restricted Growth, Window Cleaners become Vision Technicians and all sorts of other rubbish.
