Just been checking out barryboys.co.uk for the first time today, and OMG, there really are some steaming piles of automotive-turd on the UK's roads!

It's actually a really good site, loads of subscribed users, and best of all no censoring of the language at all - which makes people's 'say what you're thinking' descriptions all the more entertaining!

Anyway, decided to search for '300zx', and came across a few real nasty Z's - can anyone here confess to owning / having owned one of these?

or, best of all, and I know this has been seen before, but for the benefit of any new members who need a quick lession in how NOT to mod your Z:

anyway, check out bb.co.uk for yourselves and and make your own mind up about the rest! (Plenty of other Z's highlighted on there too, but some of them I happen to like!!)

Oh my word, some of those are dreadful, and I'm sure I've seen that first one somewhere before ...

Have seen and been inside the The 4th one (orange) many times in person, and it looks a LOT better in real life. The interior colour has come out wrong in those pics. Paintjob and retrim are very high quality.

bloody hell .. some right ones on there .... and why on earth spend all that time doing a well done boot build and shove JBL's cheapest setup in it ... what a waste of time IMHO

the red one i like, until the interior. sory if its anyones on here but thats a tad ott, even still shouldnt be on that sight.

cant wait till someone slags of their kids car on there.

Yeah I couldn't really see what the problem with the fourth one was either. I don't really like what's been done with the rear light clusters but I think the rest of the exterior looks great. I've also few objections to a brightly coloured leather interior, and inevitably these things look better in the flesh than in photos.

I'll admit that most of the cars on that list are pretty messed up, and in general most of the cars on that site are a mess, however there is an element, of "hey, this guy's car isn't some really dull eurobox ergo it must be a total shed" about it. Along with other sentiments such as "hmm, this person has clearly poured all their disposable income into their car so they're obviously a complete muppet, in total contrast to me: I use my money much more responsibly by frittering it away on bad investments, electrical goods I don't need and don't really know how to use anyway, XBOX live, CDs by bands whose names I will have forgotten in five years time, expensive red wine I know sweet nothing about, poorly laid laminate flooring, and lashings of internet porn." Unfortunately the site seems to be populated largely by a bunch of whining hypocrites who appeared to have proclaimed themselves as some sort of style police force.

The photos are funny for about an hour and then it becomes dull. As do the repetetive comments.

Why do they do it? :slap:

And Chris, if you think that car is red, it explains why you think the exterior looks quite nice. ;) I personally don't like the colour, front spoiler, rear lights, rear bumper, interior... I like the wheels though ;)

I've met the first one myself and the older couple who own it. It's not finnished yet either, It's still a work in progress. They are a nice couple too.

I'm not a great one for orange interior myself but not too bad, but what about that one with the double racing strip not to my tastes and the last one what happened to it? What can one say about it, execpt it's had it's nose pulled and painted with undercoat

i think the exterior of the 4th one is ok - at least the guys on the BB forum seemed to agree with that and didnt start mouthing off like you'd expect. interior not to my taste tho.

I think the BB people have lost direction, most of the cars shown are not ridiculous. I don't like vehicle graphics in general but none are particularly in bad taste. I do think the Rover 600 is justified, likewise the Subaru if only for the number plates but of course the last 300 should always be mocked!

that orange zed looks very nice to me, not sure bout the inside but the outside of my Z looked like that i would be very happy

Nothing wrong with the red one its nicely done. Feel sorry for the person who spent the money on the last one....some good ideas but it looks shite and must have cost a fortune!
