Just had my UNI-CHIP re-mapped !!

Got my Zed back at the weekend after having my Uni-chip re-mapped and what a difference. It felt a bit under powered recently so I got the map checked out. It was running a bit too rich. Running very Smoooottthhh now!!

I can't understand why anyone else on the forum doesn't have this chip. It seems to go like the clappers. The readout when it was on the rolling road said that it is pushing out about 370 - 380 BHP at the flywheel. Is this good for a zed that has just had the chip, exhaust and intake done???. Am I still the only one with this Chip on a ZED??

I had the PTU changed aswell ( supplied by Vijay via his brother, Cheerz M8!!) so thats one less thing to go wrong in the furture!.

I will try to get as much use as I can out of it now the summer is on it's way. Enjoy the ride guys!!!!!!!

Thanks for the complement on my car Paul. Like you I am not a great fan of bodykits and do very much like the standard shape of the Zed. A couple of years ago though I saw an article on a dark blue zed (Reg A9 GMP) with this kit and fell in love with it!. The colour is the standard nissan red. I was going to do it another colour but could not be bothered to mess around with painting in the engine bay etc.

Not knowing too much about these cars (or the forum)at the time I did get an RPS clucth just after the chip was done. It does not slip but it does clunk into second now and then. When I have some spare cash I will probably look for an alternative. If you don't mind me asking M8 how much was the Helix kit you went for?

Seez ya
