help on de-cat

i am going to de-cat as i am going to rebuild my engine or buy one already done i was thinking will i get away with just smashing the cats just for now till i get new engine

    ive just decatted although got the pipes from ebay (twin divorced downpipes) from 2fast2cool. unbelievable difference in throttle response and spool up and best mod so far - notice your running mongoose exhaust as well - awesome sound when done and only cots me £130

    im thinking of pushing a broom handle through my cats just to try and see if the seals do go before rebuild

    you,l need something a bit tougher than a broom handle mate , bit of steel bar and a hammer to break the cats out theyre pretty tough things .
