Sorry to say this lads but i've let the side down. some twat in a TVR just kicked my ass. not surprising as my Z is still a stock import, but sickerning all the same. I'm going to take it to the next 2CV rally. i've got to sort this out by the summer.

signed sad but true.

I just hope it wasn't one of them old ones with the 2.8 capri engine ;-)

Its time for some mods I think..

time for some mods , im still ringing out my hanky. any ecu's about on the quick ? the exhaust has to go too. anyone got 2 scaffold poles for sale?

next time there's a Z meet i'll be hiding in the background.

Rick,

Oh well, you win some, you lose some. I got stuffed by a porker once and was totally gutted because he didn't even have to try very hard.

I occasionally meet up with a fellow Z'r who lives at Canvey Island.

Maybe we can meet all up sometime?

Steve

If your having a south east meet count me in

Paulr

apart from my one or two really great victorys i have had (all in a straight line on the autobhan mind you)

i have had some rather embarresing defeats lol

at the nurburgring i was past by a bmw 330 cabriolet with four girls in it !!!!!?????

Warren,

I bet they had the roof down aswell :-)

Probably thought you were out for a Sunny afternoon drive eh.

Steve

dont tell me youve seen my video lol cause thats how it was.

i thaught i was driving quite well and then wooshh lol he he he felt like a pratt.

guess they had been around a few more times than me.

well it looks like im not the only one to have bit the dust, i feel a bit better now.

have to get it sorted by the spring though.

last year i was going to a car and bike meet every tuesday night at the Dick Turpin pub on the A127. lots of nice stuff there, about 75 fogarty fans on one side and quite a few hot cars, couple of ferrari's, Viper, the dreaded griffith to name a few. not that many zitty ford driver thankfuly.

Be nice to see a few Z's

the car park goes straight onto the A127, so there's plenty of smoke and fireworks.

Don't feel bad. The latest TVRs are packing 4-500bhp and have bodies made of fibreglass. Power to weight ratio is phenomenal. 0-60 in 4 secs etc. Face it - you can't be faster than everyone, just most people.

I was coming home on the A303 yesterday afternoon and was cruising at about 100 when this charlie in what looked like a standard Escort (it turned out to be an RS2000) was right up my chuff. Increasing to 125 did not lose him either. But 145 did! Ha

Am I nails or what?

Simon

ill take a griffith on lol

i challenge him to drive 50 miles without breaking down lol and at 160 mph his car will probably fall apart.

nice one simon
