i have got to weld a plate on the passanger side sill to pass a mot, it's on the back quarter near the seam where the jack goes on do i need to remove all the interior trim from that side before welding or does this part of the sill not go into the interior of the car at all

I've recently had mine replaced and I got a guy up the road from me to do the welding Graeme. Cost me £240 but it does need to be done properly ;)

For the record, nothing had to be removed from the interior - it's all external work
