I have sprayed the underside of the car while the subframe is out with stone chip, now I want to colour it.

 

Do I do silver to match the bodywork or something else.

Thats what I was thinking, a nice thick coat of hammerite smooth and the dirt should wash off easy too.

Wasn't talking about the colour of the stone chip. What I mean is, if you were going concourse and had removed all the stone chip that was previously on there, then I'd say do it body colour. But day to day use, get some black shit up there.

Too late funkster the hammerite went on yesterday and I think it looks good.

 

I'm not bothered about shows and stuff but if I have the wheels off and do any work on her then to be nice and clean will make it that much nicer to work on.
