My recon prop arrived this morning and I'm about to book the Zed in at the same place that recently sorted out my suspension/wheel alignment.

These guys are supposed to be the best local performance car people, specialising in fast japanese but particularly evo's and supras.

They are also authorised Tein dealers.

Whilst changing my brakes last weekend I had a look at my front shocks (tein). Now, according to the garage in question. The front shocks are adjusted as high as they'll go (they even sugested the suspension could be the wrong ones for the car) yet you cannot get your hand in between the tyre and wheelarch.

Anyhow, looking at the shock, the height adjustment collar is right at the top of it's thread. Would this not suggest that the suspension is actually at it's lowest setting?? I can't quite get my head around it, but if that is the case I don't think I'll go back there with my new prop :nono:

Tein flex adjust ride height without undoing the 2 top locking rings. Just by undoing the bottom ring and undoing the bottom shock mount and turning lower shock base around the strut as to keep the spring pre load the same .Old tein shocks HA/HR/HE dont adjust in this way.
