Ugly as sin. Can't understand why someone would want their car to look like that. All about personal taste though at the end of the day. Personally, I'd be embarrased to drive that.

I disagree with most of you. Its a nice example and the work that has gone into it is on appearance very good. Some of you need understand that some claims of 400 BHP with few mods is achievable so stop FFS slagging off everyone who says so. this bloke has spent a 5hit load of cash to make the car look like he wanted. It aint everyones cup of tea but so what. Not everyone likes mozart but no one can deny he was a brilliant musician. its indivuality that makes us who we are.

Its false advertising. The car clearly isn't 400bhp and even with a poxy air filter and 5" exhaust your gonna be lucky to see 300bhp on a 13 year old car so the seller should be pulled up on it. As expensive as the paintwork and bodykit are I think it looks hideous so I am there for gonna rip the piss sorry :)

Not my cut of T but the colours nice, looks like the works been done well and I'm sure someone will think it's the dogs. The blokes had that work done because thats what he wanted and at the end of the day thats what it's all about. Only prob is when it comes to selling it you need to find someone with the same taste. I don't think the price is to bad for what it is.

I just wanna see you all at the next JAE or something and see if you all rip the piss out of someone there with a car with the same kit on it or similar. Black magics front end is pretty much the same as that would you have the balls to walk up to him and rip the piss....... any of you?

 

I dont like the body kit. It is too over the top but I wont call the bloke names because I dont like he's car. You all think you know so much about these cars that anyone with half the knowledge is stupid. Thats selective and as far as I am concerned not on. A lot of members on here say its a nice friendly place. what a load of B0ll0x. some you lot are as friendly as a fookin air raid. OK you are entitled to your opinions but dont slam people because they have different tastes as you FFS. and if he is making claims of 400BHP and you dont believe him.....Dont buy the car. there are far worse scams going on than a false claim of bhp.

 

I got my car from a reputable dealer who said my car is 400bhp. I know it hasnt had that much done but if you want to disprove hes claims make a date and I will race you. Easy as that. Maybe some of you aint as expert as you think you are.

The purists such as myself are always going to dislike such vehicles. I mean, I picked a magazine up at Minneapolis Airport called 'Automobile'. It's similar to 'Car' magazine over here. This month's special feature was on their top 25 most beatiful cars. You know what, the 300zx was one of them. So, if a chap with a Gallardo started boding bits of fibreglass to his car and painting it lurid colours, then their owners' club would get just as much of a response.

 

Some people like the 300ZX for what it is and how it was designed, not how much stuff you can stick to it and how different you can make it look. As has been said, it's a shame to ruin a beautiful car.

...but hey, we all have different tastes, in much the same way as I hate lambo doors, razor blade spoilers, neons, ungainly bodykits etc, there's someone that doesn't and hates to see the more stock examples.

 

For me, with all the above types of cars, as much as I dislike them, it makes it nicer to see tidy more original looking examples. Go over on the US forums and they are very much purists. Some lovely examples over there.

Si it aint my cup ot tea mate. Infact I would never own a car as radicle as that. But what has been done looks like it has been done well. My point is as i said they have been nasty read the posts Si. it aint on. I have a strosek front end going on mine which I think is the best front end made after market but there are some that say its ugly. there you go personal taste. Leave the bloke alone he has done no one on here any harm.

What I think of the car is not the point. I dont like what he has done. I do think it looks like it has been done well though.

My point is that It was/is uncalled for. Having a laugh is very different to slagging someone off that you have no knowledge about especially when that person is obviously a like minded 300ZX owner.

You saying I am getting on my high horse is *****x too. I have every right to express my thoughts. Thats what this is all about aint it? Its OK for you to slag him off but not for me to critisize your attack. The race remark was meant to make a point, but do you think you might beat me then? I am sure one day we might have the chance to prove it one way or the other if you feel up for it but i wont loose any sleep waiting mate. I am not in anyway bitter so now you get off your high horse and stop presuming that you know anything about how or what I think or feel. I am more than happy with my cars performance. The trouble is you are all very quick to jump on people until someone does it back then the tables turn. I dont know many people on here that can take critisism very well. Myself included. So lets just leave it alone now and call it a difference of opinion yet again? :)

you have just said it yourself vini its a difference of opinion and alot of peoples opinion on this site is they dont like that car i dont get why every one is so worked up. also you said none of us would say we didnt like someones car to them well when (i think) fairladyzxgirl asked what we thought about her zed i said i didnt like the front and would say the same to anyone else cause i really dont like them but that my opinion not everyone likes my zed, if this wasnt so we would all be driving around in zeds that look the same. not a dig at you just my point :duffer:

Don't like it. The seller is also a little foolish admitting to having an "undetectable" number plate, let's face it once they may get away with it but twice, I doubt it, it's not like it's a common car, would take long and they'd be looking at attempting to pervert the course of justice.
