Well impressed by NitroPow's engine bay bling, just wondered what parts could be chromed? Has anyone got a full list of what could be done?.

nothing!! dont be sooo vain :p

 

anything metalic i suppose could be cromed but as i put in the thread, crome will eventually flake due to all the heat so you would be better getting stuff polished and then laquered to keep it nice

most metals can be polished especially aluminium

flaking only tends to happen when the base metal hasnt been cleaned or the plating isnt applied at the right bath temperature .. the prob with plating ally parts on the zed you need to get it polished first to get a good coat of plating .. catch 22

It's only silver plastic ;)

Never had any probs with the ickle bit of chrome on mine :D and its been done years.I would defo advise you not to have anything polished and then lacquered as it will get scratched and look shite,probly go all yellow as well."POLISH THEN CHROME" :cool:
