Tbh imo the only skyline worth changing for is either a R33/R34 GTR i know you wont get one for 6k, personally i wouldnt bother with a GTS-T etc unless you really wanna change from the zed

i agree with clarkey, upgrade to a gtr, from a tt rear wheel drive car to a tt fourwheel drive car, which is more easibly tuned and is better handling car

yes and no bud......better handling i think that's down to the driver....but yes the tuning side of thing's is easyer......but RWD is so much fun... :nana2:

...

a GTS is slower and looks like a mundane car. The GTR goes really well and with the beefed up arches and various body parts it looks pretty macho.

I think the Skyline is a great car and yes is easier to tune and do eingine mods but unless its got some decent external bodywork mods it dont stick out in a crowd like the Z32 does. it is deffo the right direction if you want to get big power. only my opinion of course. but thats what this game is all about.....Taste.

EDIT: I also like the 200SX touring. they can be made to go very well and look good too. for about a third of the expense.

You may be lucky & get an r32 gtr skyline

for around £6k, lighter & more tuneable than

the others.

You'd probably get a TT Supra for £6k too.

i would only give my zed up for a skyline and it must be a good one i might look into px mine towards a more exspensive one

tt supras still a bit more than that arnt they?

For a decent one, you are looking at 10k. I would only get a GTR. The others aren't worth getting IMHO. You could get a 32 GTR for 6K

If it was me I'd get a bit more cash together and buy a R33 GTR mate ;)

Yup!

You can get a very ropey import TT for 6K (a bit like those ebay ZXs for 2K), or a fairly nice N/A Soop.

Decent earlier imports are around the £8-9k mark, later cars and UK specs for 10K+

As the consensus above, I also think that if you can't get a Skyline GTR then don't bother. The GTS is slower and duller than a 300zx, no contest!

You have a nice ZX there, I'd keep that........

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I think youd all be suprised how well a GTST go's!!

I have a R32GTST and its pretty stock, it'll kick the shit out of a TT Z with the same mods, but once a TT has a boost increase etc etc the TT will then kick the skylines ass.

i spent all night looking at skylines and i cant belive how bod the interior is on most of them it would have to be a very good skyline for me to give my zed up. after looking it would be a R33 gtr about £11k are these the only ones twin turbo and is twin or single turbo the best option

gt-r are all twin turbo, unless they have been modified and fitted with 1 large turbo

the interior is a bit plastic, but then the tweed of early z models is hardly desirable :p
