No or they'd be one sat in my garage :p I'd like to have one realistically in a few more years but after spending 3.5K on the Zed the last couple of months its put the Ferrari dreams back a bit further

Honda NSX

Porsche 911-993 model

Beemer M5 (5.0l v8 version)

Porsche 928

Beemer M3 convertible (mk1)

Subaru SVX (some reason I really like them)

Ford Escort RS2000 mk1 or mk2

iv just taken the loan out for this car and im ment to be picking it up on wed

so what the fook is going on there!!!!!!

ill be ringing the guy in the morning asking some very pressing questions!!

although he has sent me many pics of the car and spoken to him at length about it... so im very confused

I think about this a lot.

And I always come back to the Integra Type-R DC5

Yes it's FWD but I think it'd be a match for pretty much anything on a twisty road. Plus very reliable / low maintenance and you can get 35 or even 40mpg on a motorway run.

Also it's unusual.

I also consider

200SX S15

350Z (though put off if Paul C says they're not good)

NSX (late - 2002 onwards)

MK IV Supra

Skyline (R33 or 34 GTR)

Better keep doing the scratch cards if I fancy one of these!

Got no plans to change my Zed at the moment though.I've had it for two-and-a-half years and still love it.

Edit - would quite fancy an F-off diesel like the new 535D or the 4.0V8 Audi. Dunno if you can run them on cooking oil though ;)

brakedust thats a nice looking car mate but i dont think them wheels cost 18 grand

Yearrrrright!!

R32GTR

R32GTST drift slag

i wouldnt mind a caterham or westfield.

what ever i buy would not need to be practicle so fun would be the main thing

skyline r34 gtr nur

nsx 3.2 with popup lights pre facelift

honda s2000

silvia s15 spec r aero

350z gt4 or my06>

bmw z3 m coupe (maybe)

Be carefull...seems very suspicious.

Also all his numbers are complete noncense.

No way engine rebuild cost £19k on it

No way the Wheels cost £18k

No way the Exhaust cost £2k

and it just cost him £2k to ge through mot !

if somebody lies about the prices like that...have to be concerned about what you can trust !

Plus he is a new ebayer with 0 feedback. I smell a scam.

Have you actually seen the car?

i would never part with any money for it until was properly checked out, this does look a little suspicious

i just did a swap on mine ;)

there were a couple of Deloreans at a meet the other night, i was looking at the engine bay thinking my z engine would just about fit in there, Then it might just make 88.8 mph!

18k wheels? are they solid gold?

sorry to hijack the tread lads!

spoken to the bloke, the figures are when the work was done in miles... the 2nd one is on as his brother has put it on for him as he thought i was messing him about!!!

i said i wasn't handing any money over untill i saw the car... and he said that was ok! iv got the loan and paid for my train ticket down to pick the car up!

some bloody people :nono:

anyway i think its all been sorted now. there where a few problems with the car though.

hes got it down as a 4.5.. when actualy its the 4.2 with a new 4.5 engine in it... so that made me ask some questions!

OK then - a car that is not stupidly out of reach......

Well if I was thinking of replacing it with another "classic 2 days a week driver" then probably a Porsche 928gt/gts or Lotus Esprit Turbo.

If I sold the daily driver (SLK) as well then I had once considered a DB7, but almost £30k on a 10 year old car is not clever - especially with Aston reliability.......double especially as a daily driver :nono:

I do like the 350Z but realistically, if I were to get rid of both cars then I'd probably buy a new shape SLK350......

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
