Hi guys,

 

Haven't done anything Zed related for a while (apart from washing it and driving it). I keep forgetting to look on this forum.

 

Gaz, is it worth organising a regular meeting point at the same place at the same time each month? For example, another club I belong to always meet on the 1st Sunday of the month in the same pub. Sounds boring but you still get to do other meets as well and at least everyone knows where and when to turn up.

 

Just an idea, what do people think?

I did suggest this after the last pub meet at the Filly Inn, but I feel you would have to rotate around different places due to the distance people have to travel.

I'm up for this, as CC says probably needs rotating for travel purposes and fairness.

this is quite true. the area we cover is quite large and not just the dorset area where i am. a regular meet would be nice but someone will always miss out due to the regular location. i will look into it tho but if you have any ideas to a regular haunt for the section please feel free to let me know.

Most Zeds posting on here from the South appear to be around the Southampton / Bournemouth area. How about the pub we first met at, near the end of the M27?

that is the most central pub between bournemouth and southampton . i can arrange this for oct the 29 and the last week of every month if there is enough interest.
