My good friend, David Boyce, username DAB1 was driving last Saturday (26th) in his 300zx, it had been raining heavily all day and he lost control of his car. The 300 went off the road and into a tree. He died from chest trauma.

I know Dave was a 300zx fanatic and loved this site, so I thought for all those who have chatted with him about misc converstions and remember him would want to know.

He genuinly was the nicest guy who I learnt a lot from and always had so much respect for, he was a father and husband. I guess please remember that you need to treat these cars with respect as they really can be twitchy in the wet; Life really can end at any moment.

Rest in peace Dave.

That does put things into perspective. I'm sure everyones thoughts are with his friends and family, RIP David DAB1 Boyce.

Very very shocking and sad news. I cant think what to type other than RIP David, hope you are in a better place. Huge condolances to his wife and kids, I just cant imagine what they're going through at this moment.

I didn't know the guy, but it is a sad and tragic loss to both the club and Daves family and friends.

Rest in Peace mate.

Oh no :( He only lived down the road from us. We are moving nearer next month and I was thinking it would be nice to meet up again. Our thoughts are with his wife and child, anything I can do then let me know. Dave

edit - Seeing as you can't get PMs Peteyboy:

Hi mate,

We live in Southborough at the moment and we're moving to Frant next month. If there's anything we can do to help Daves familiy then please let me know.

David Monaghan

You never think that it could happen to you or anyone close, it makes you take a step back from it all and think.

RIP DAB 1

Feel sick after reading this. Spoken with David via PM in the past after he'd bought a part off me, he seemed like a very nice chap and was enjoying his Zed ownership. I'm gutted to hear this, R.I.P DAB1
