Well they just have to go, my dials I mean.

 

I currently have a jap import and my speedo goes from 0 to 120mph, the problem is that it's not even right.

 

I think the dial is out my 10mph and not in my favour. So when I doing 30mph the dial says 20mph etc.

 

So what are the options?

 

I think I just want to change them to 180mph dials, but what happens about the mileometer which is currently in kms?

 

Also I like indigo dials so if it worth doing this at the same time?

 

Oh and any ideas about costs?

I have a Jap TT fully converted mph speedo complete with chip showing 180mph and recording 57,000.

Just swap it.

yes may be something to do with it being on my kitchen table instead of in the car!

But thanks for pointing it out, I forgot there are a few gallons of fuel still in the tank! Must remember to transfer to my car tomorrow :dance:

Don't suppose anyone's got a U.K. cluster for sale have they? I need a MPH speedo, a mileage odometer and a working fuel gauge (mine's sticking). BTW It's for a non-turbo.

Could be that you're wheel/tyre size is affecting the speedo I think, you have to have the right tyre profile for the size of wheel to keep it accurate.

As for converting to MPH, when you fit a converter to your KPH speedo, your odometer will read in miles also, and you can take it out when you are fitting the converter and adjust the mileage (so that your mileage is still correct) from KMs to whatever it is in miles, then it will clock up miles from then on. No idea about the indigo dials, but the cost of a speedo converter is £65 +vat from Zedworld in Tamworth, theirs is the only price I know.

I was trying to answer your ad, the solution was a new set of 180mph gauges with a chip already installed, that is what I was offering to you but someone beat you to it....
